New Things I Learned Today:    June 5, 2012
  1. Always read and follow all the Directions.
  2. When told directions verbally, take notes.
  3. Do not be afraid to ask questions to clarify the directions.
  4. You can make suggestions if you have a more efficient or cost effective way to do the task you are directed to do.

Put directions in writing for staff, so you are clear about what
and how you want something to be completed.

*Time Management Tip of the Day:
Save the directions document on your computer for future usage.

  1. When looking for a new position research different types of jobs that might interest you.
  2. When preparing your Resume adapt it towards the position you are applying for.
  3. Know how the organization functions. How and what they do to serve their customers.
  4. Be prepared for the interview. Practice, Practice, Practice.
  5. Be prepared to answer questions about your resume.

Know your wants and needs before starting a project.

Consider time and cost for using internal staff compared to
outsourcing to complete a task.

  1. Know how to troubleshoot the problems with your computer and devices.
  2. Restarting your computer may solve some problems with your computer.
  3. Scan Disk can help you detect and fix problems with your hard disk.
  4. Disk cleanup and defragmentation can improve efficiency of your hard drive.

Use System Restore to bring your computer back to a point
when it was working properly

*Time Management Tip of the Day:
You can save time by setting System Restore to Automatically
create restore points at various times each week.

1.      You must be open minded when changes happen.
2.      Always be considerate to others and show professional ethics
          and morals.
3.      Have all the information and consider your options before
          making a decision.
4.      Have an Action Plan to reach your desired results.
5.      Keeping accurate records is essential.
